Baltasar Engonga, the director-general of the Equatorial Guinea’s anti-graft agency, the National Financial Investigation Agency, ANIF, has received the boot for alleged sexual romp with 400 women, including wives of his close relations and top government officials.
Real Equatorial Guinea reported that the President of Equatorial Guinea, Teodoro Mbasogo, booted out Engonga for “irregularities committed in the exercise of his functions, as well as inappropriate family and social conduct for the performance of public functions, as stated in Decree number 118/2024, dated November 4”.
What began as an investigation into an alleged fraud exposed about 400 explicit videos purportedly featuring him and multiple women searched the home and office of the anti-graft boss, who is the son of Baltasar Engonga Edjoo, the current president of the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa, CEMAC.
Some of the women caught up in the sex scandal included Engonga’s brother’s wife, his cousin, the sister of the president of Equatorial Guinea, the wife of the Director General of Police, and about 20 wives of ministers, among several others.
