All roads lead to Umuanunu Nsu in Ehime Mbano LGA of Imo State tomorrow, Friday, September 6, 2024, as the remains of the late Nze Bernard Onuoha Iwuoha of Ofemkpuru kindred, Umuanunu Nsu are laid to rest.
The late community leader, who was also fondly called Stainless, died at the age of 89.
During his lifetime, Nze Stainless was an accomplished tailor par excellence, community leader, transporter and farmer; a defender of truth and an apostle of peace.
Dr. Chima Placid Iwuoha, one of his children, in a funeral programme he released on behalf of the family, stated that there shall be a lying-in-state at his compound tomorrow by 9am.
Thereafter, a funeral mass follows at Holy Ghost Parish, Umuanunu Nsu, Ehime Mbano LGA, Imo State, by 10am.
Interment shall take place by 12noon at his residence after which guests shall be entertained amid condolence visits.
The family shall proceed to a Thanksgiving Mass at the Holy Ghost Parish, Umuamunu Nsu, on Sunday, September 8.
Pa Iwuoha, who was a respected Christian father, is survived by many relatives and children, among whom are Dr. (Mrs.) Jovita Oguh of the Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education, Owerri, Imo State, and Dr. Chima Placid Iwuoha.
