The West African Examinations Council, WAEC, has announced the reviewed results of the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination, WASSCE.
The council had on Monday released the results but shut down it’s result checker portal soon after, saying it had discovered glitches in the process.
However, Dr Amos Dangut, Head of National Office (Nigeria), told newsmen in Lagos on Friday that after the review, 62.96 percent of the candidates who sat for the examination had credits and above in a minimum of five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
In the results released earlier, only 38.32 percent of candidates that took part in the examination secured credits in five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, sparking national outrage.
