Tragedy has struck in a community in Delta State after two persons reportedly died during a drinking competition.
Two other contestants are also hospitalised.
They were engaged in the drinking competition worth N100,000 prize in Agbarha community of the state.
The contestants allegedly drank a bottled alcoholic substance, on the condition to finish it at once.
However, in the process two of them collapsed and died on the spot while the other two were rushed to the hospital where they are receiving treatment.
The state police command has not reacted to the development.
