A University of Jos student, Peter Mafuyai, has been allegedly killed by his colleague, identified simply as Nanpon Timnan, in their off-campus apartment at Rusau Village in the Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.
PUNCH Metro learnt from a video posted on Facebook by Happy Londi that the deceased was a 300-level student of the Department of Banking and Finance.
Londi added that Nanpon Timnan is a 200-level student of Agricultural Science.
“A student known as Nanpon Timnan, a 200 level student of Agricultural science, is alleged to have killed another student, Peter Mafuyai, a 300 level student of the Department of Banking and Finance in the same University of Jos,” she wrote.
In a video attached to the post, the lifeless body of the deceased was placed in an ambulance as medical personnel covered it with a purple cloth.
In another video sighted by PUNCH Metro on Facebook and posted by Mc Pee, a male adult believed to be a student of the institution was seen narrating what transpired.
According to him, the deceased allegedly begged for his life before he was eventually killed by the suspect. Punch
