Tiwa Savage, Nigerian award-winning singer, is considering the option of becoming a second wife.
The once married crooner and mother of one made this known on a recent episode of Air Service, the American podcast.
She disclosed that most of her potential suitors are either much older or already married.
“If I meet somebody who can really marry me, they are either in their 50s or already married,” the 44-year-old singer said. “So, I don’t know. Maybe I can be a second wife. I think so. I could be a second wife.”
Savage was previously married to Tunji Balogun, a popular music executive also called but the couple went their separate ways in 2018, following allegations of infidelity from both sides.
However, according to Savage, living harmoniously with a first wife would not be a problem for her, adding that she would not be trouble, saying she would be respectful, and focused on her music career.
“I think I can get along with the first wife and she’s going to love me because I’m not going to be troublesome. I’ll be going on tours, not stressing anyone. I’m very respectful, and I know you are the first wife, so I’d give you that respect.”
