Thieves raid witchcraft shop at night, steals only stuffed raccoon 

Thieves have raide on Sunday, April 27, 2025, raided Witch Way Australia, a shop located on Ingham Road in West End, Townsville, experienced a peculiar break-in.

When owners Fiona Ramage and her team arrived, they discovered the front door had been forcibly opened, with the deadlock drilled out, although the drill bit had broken off in the process.

Interestingly, the only item stolen was a stuffed raccoon named Ralph, dressed in a suit and red bow tie, who was positioned near the entrance as a “doorman.”

Interestingly, no other valuable items were taken, which makes the theft of the raccoon all the more curious.

Ms. Ramage believed that the loud buzzer alarm went off during the incident, and likely caused the thieves to leave the scene before taking any other items.

The owner of Witch Way Australia, Fiona Ramage, was understandably shocked and amused by the bizarre theft. She explained that Ralph had been a part of the shop for a long time and had become a beloved fixture.

She immediately took to social media to appeal to the public for help in recovering Ralph, offering a $200 store voucher as a reward for his return.
