Daniel Bwala, the spokesman to the presidential campaign of the former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, during the 2023 presidential election has bagged an appointment from President Bola Tinubu.
The president in Thursday approved his appointment as the Special Adviser, Media and Public Communications, State House.
Bwala is a lawyer and notable public affairs analyst.
Other appointees as announced by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy include three Nigerians, who were appointed as directors-general of various agencies.
Mr Olawale Olopade, a former Commissioner of Youth and Sports in Ogun State and one-time chairman of the Local Organising Committee of the 2024 National Sports Festival, was appointed to head National Sports Commission, as Director-General.
He is a versed sports administrator with many years of experience in the sector.
Similarly, Dr Abisoye Fagade, a marketing communication professional, who is also the founder and Managing Director of Sodium Brand Solutions, is the new Director-General, National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism while Dr. Adebowale Adedokun, is the Director-General, Bureau of Public Procurement.
Adedokun was the Director of Research, Training and Strategic Planning at the bureau before his appointment.
According to Onanuga, President Tinubu urged the new appointees to dedicated, patriotic, and excellent in the discharge of their duties.
