If Nyesom Wike is so powerful, why are they using my name? – Asari Dokubo
Former militant leader, Asari Dokubo, has slammed demonstrators in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, for dragging him into their protests.
Dokunbo, a leader in the Kalabari Kingdom, frowned allegations made against him during a protest that recently took place in Rivers State by supporters of the ex-local government chairmen in the state.
Reacting in a video on Facebook, Dokubo expressed confusion and frustration over protesters carrying placards accusing him of killing people.
He categorically denied killing anyone and won why his name dragged into the demonstrations. He emphasized that these claims were baseless and aimed at tarnishing his reputation.
In Asari Dokubo’s words: “Today they are demonstrating all over Rivers State, if Nyesom Wike is that powerful why are they using my name. Who have I killed? They are carrying placards saying ‘Asari Dokubo stop killing people” So Nyesom Wike is so powerful? That Wike people say is so powerful, come and see him, Rivers people chased him out of all the local governments.”
