Favour Igiebor, the woman who made headlines recently for tearing her husband’s international passport at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, has thrown light on the reasons that prompted her strange action.
According to her, she did to prevent him from traveling abroad.
In the video she shared on her official instagram page, Favour heaped everything in protracted family issues, adding that she has been going through so much pain in her marriage.
According to her: “I everyone, I have come across a lot of comments, people are insulting me, even my fellow gender who don’t understand are also insulting me. I was not supposed to do what I did, yeah i know, that’s where so many people got me. Why will I tear my husband’s passport, it’s against Nigerian law, it’s against Nigerian rule, yes I know that. What do I say? To Nigerian Immigration, I’m very sorry but to be sincere, I did it for my husband not to go back because i have seen so many things, I have gone through pains.
“Pains that caused me heart pain today, pains that gives me headache in the middle of my head, you don’t know what I’m passing through. All my genders talking, I pray you don’t experience what I have just passed through. My husband bought me an iPhone just to calm me down, this thing has been going on for years now.”
