The sprawling Canary World Event Centre on 23 Road, Festac Town, Lagos, became a sanctuary of worship and divine encounters on Sunday, July 26, 2026, as thousands of believers gathered to celebrate the 14th anniversary of Papa’s Move, a revival platform that has evolved into a beacon of spiritual renewal, hope and compassionate service.
More than a commemorative event, the anniversary was a celebration of God’s faithfulness over fourteen years of transformed lives, restored destinies and countless testimonies of divine intervention. The 2026 edition, themed “Unexpected Victories,” lived up to its billing, leaving participants with renewed faith and hope.

From the early hours of the day, worshippers streamed into the venue from different parts of Lagos and beyond, filling the expansive auditorium with eager expectation. Every available space came alive with joyful anticipation as believers assembled for what many described as yet another unforgettable encounter with God.
The programme commenced with an opening prayer led by Evangelist Mrs. Chioma Success, followed by fervent warfare prayers conducted by Rev. Dan Nwachukwu, who ministered from Isaiah 7:7, declaring God’s victory over every impossible situation.
The atmosphere shifted dramatically when the vibrant choir of Acts of Restoration and Compassion (ARC) Church mounted the altar with an electrifying session of extravagant praise and heartfelt worship. Their powerful ministration ignited an outpouring of celebration as thousands lifted holy hands, danced with unrestrained joy and offered thanksgiving to God for His enduring mercies.

The spiritual intensity deepened with anointed ministrations by renowned gospel ministers Ebuka D’Great, Efe Nathan and NK Godson. Their worship sessions drew the congregation into profound moments of intimacy with God, as many testified to experiencing healing, restoration, deliverance and renewed hope. Throughout the gathering, the auditorium reverberated with songs of victory, fervent prayers and spontaneous expressions of gratitude as worshippers became completely immersed in God’s presence.
The anniversary also attracted an array of respected ministers from different churches and denominations, reflecting the unity of the Body of Christ and affirming Papa’s Move as a revival vision that transcends denominational boundaries while remaining firmly committed to the preaching of Christ and the advancement of God’s Kingdom.

One of the emotional highlights of the celebration was the presentation of a surprise anniversary gift to Rev. Paul Chikwem, the chief host and convener of Papa’s Move, who is also theLead Pastor of Acts of Restoration and Compassion (ARC) Church.
The presentation was led by Bro. Nuel Chukwuemeka on behalf of a group of grateful sons and daughters in the ministry, who expressed appreciation for Rev. Chikwem’s years of sacrificial service, unwavering devotion and profound impact on their lives.
Presenting the gift, Dr. Yolanda David, fondly known as Aunt Landa and one of the cardinal pillars of the ministry, extolled the virtues of the servant of God. She encouraged him to remain strengthened for greater exploits in God’s vineyard and urged members of the congregation to remain steadfast and faithful in the service of the Lord.
The defining moment of the celebration came with the ministration of Rev Chikwem.

Rather than delivering an extended sermon, he adopted his characteristic atmosphere of deep worship, prophetic declarations and fervent prayers for healing, deliverance and restoration. He pointed out that he derives his strength from worship, which does not only attract God’s attention directly but also faster.
As he ministered under a palpable atmosphere of God’s presence, many worshippers encountered what they described as life-changing divine visitations.
He reminded believers that God’s ultimate desire is not merely to fill church auditoriums but to transform lives and raise genuine disciples who will become agents of restoration in their generation. He challenged Christians to become living epistles by reflecting the character of Christ in their homes, workplaces and communities, stressing that true revival finds its fullest expression when transformed people become instruments of transformation in society.
As the worship continued, many worshippers responded with tears of repentance, heartfelt prayers and fresh consecration. The altar became a place of renewed commitment as dozens of souls answered the altar call, surrendered their lives and burdens to Christ, sought divine direction and embraced a deeper walk with God.
The congregation repeatedly erupted in thunderous shouts of “Amen” as prophetic declarations were released over families, businesses, careers, ministries and the nation.

One of the enduring hallmarks of Papa’s Move has always been its conviction that the Gospel must be demonstrated not only through preaching but also through practical expressions of Christ’s love. That conviction found powerful expression at the close of the anniversary celebration as thousands of food packs were distributed to widows, vulnerable families, the elderly and other members of the community.
The orderly distribution brought smiles to countless faces and reaffirmed the ministry’s unwavering commitment to compassion. Volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure that every beneficiary received support, transforming the anniversary into not only a feast of spiritual nourishment but also a practical demonstration of God’s love for humanity.
Speaking after the event, many worshippers described the celebration as life-transforming, expressing gratitude for the atmosphere of worship, the powerful move of the Holy Spirit and the opportunity to witness love translated into meaningful action. For first-time attendees and long-standing participants alike, the anniversary served as a reminder that genuine revival is sustained not merely by powerful gatherings but by lives continually surrendered to God and committed to serving humanity.
As the curtains fell on the memorable celebration, participants agreed that Papa’s Move has continued to flourish because it remains firmly anchored on the twin pillars of God’s Word and genuine compassion. Fourteen years after its humble beginning, the vision continues to inspire believers, unite ministers, restore broken lives and proclaim the unchanging message of Jesus Christ with renewed passion and purpose.

With hearts overflowing with gratitude and eyes fixed on greater possibilities ahead, worshippers departed Canary World Event Centre carrying not only memories of an extraordinary anniversary but also a renewed commitment to live out the Gospel they had celebrated.
The 14th anniversary of Papa’s Move, which enjoyed aggressive online and offline promotions, will undoubtedly be remembered as another defining milestone in a ministry that continues to touch heaven through worship while touching humanity through love.
