Ugoeze Lady Cyrina Oganezi Ariri: Alife of grace andWith profound gratitude to Almighty God for a life beautifully lived and a legacy firmly established, the Ariri Royal Family, alongside friends, well-wishers, and the entire Umuoriri Uratta community, announces the transition to glory of our beloved mother, grandmother, royal matriarch, and woman of exceptional virtue, Ugo Eze Lady Cyrina Oganezi Ariri, who peacefully answered the Master’s call at the age of 71.
Lady Cyrina Ariri was a shining light whose life embodied compassion, humility, wisdom, and unwavering faith in God. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, caring grandmother, and pillar of strength whose influence extended beyond her family into the wider community. Through her kindness, generosity, and dedication to the welfare of others, she touched countless lives and earned the admiration and respect of all who knew her.
Her life was a testament to the enduring values of love, integrity, service, and sacrifice. She nurtured relationships, promoted peace, encouraged unity, and inspired many through her gentle spirit and noble character. Though her departure has left a void in our hearts, we are comforted by the rich memories she leaves behind and the remarkable legacy that will continue to speak for generations.

As family, friends, and loved ones gather to celebrate her life and bid her a final farewell, funeral activities on Friday, June 6, 2026, will commence with the departure of her body from Holy Rosary Hospital Mortuary, Emekuku, at 6:00 a.m. The body will then lie in state from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Palace of HRH Eze Sir Dr. Ambassador Boniface Ariri in Umuorji Uratta, where relatives, friends, and well-wishers will pay their last respects.
At 10:30 a.m., the body will depart the palace for a Funeral Holy Mass at St. Michael’s Catholic Parish, Umuoriri Uratta. Following the sacred service, interment will take place immediately at the country home of His Royal Majesty, Eze Dr. Boniface Ariri (KSJI), Eze Udo IV of Obibi Uratta, Egbewuike’s Compound, Umuoriri Uratta.
Today, while we mourn the passing of a beloved matriarch, we also celebrate a life of purpose, dignity, and accomplishment. Mama fought the good fight, finished her race, and kept the faith. Her gentle smile, wise counsel, and selfless devotion will forever remain treasured in our hearts.

Left to mourn her are her husband, children, grandchildren, In-laws, and a host of other relations.
