The atmosphere at the Acts of Restoration and Compassion Church, ARC Church, also known as Church without Borders, on Sunday, May 31, was charged with divine expectancy as worshippers gathered for another impactful encounter in God’s presence. From the very beginning, it was evident that the Lord had prepared a special visitation for His people.<\/p>\n
The service commenced with soul-lifting ministrations by the choir, whose inspiring songs stirred hearts and elevated spirits. The worship session reached a powerful crescendo as the congregation was ushered into a yoke-breaking atmosphere of praise and adoration. This was further enriched by the rendition of a moving Northern worship song that united the congregation in heartfelt reverence before God.<\/p>\n
Thereafter, the Lead Pastor, Rev. Paul Chikwem, was introduced. In his characteristic manner, he led the congregation in profound worship, creating an atmosphere for the Holy Spirit to take absolute control of the service.<\/p>\n

Ministering on the topic “JUST A TOUCH \u2013 2”, from Isaiah 6:1-8, Rev. Chikwem continued the message series from the previous Sunday. He reminded believers that everyone has challenges to contend with, whether physical, financial, emotional, or spiritual, and emphasised the need for divine intervention.<\/p>\n
Drawing lessons from the lives of Elisha and Isaiah, the pastor noted that there are circumstances and influences that can hinder spiritual growth and sensitivity to God. He observed that Isaiah’s greatest revelation of God came in the year King Uzziah died. Uzziah, though a successful and stable king who ascended the throne at the age of 16, and reigned for 52 years, may unknowingly have become an obstruction to Isaiah’s spiritual vision.<\/p>\n
The pastor warned against becoming too comfortable with earthly blessings, positions, relationships, and achievements to the point of losing sight of eternal realities. “Sometimes comfort can become an obstacle to spiritual advancement,” he noted. He reminded the congregation that every earthly position is temporary and that all men, regardless of status, must one day leave the stage of life.<\/p>\n

According to the message, a genuine revelation of God exposes human weaknesses, produces humility, restores sensitivity to God’s voice, and transforms lives. Isaiah’s encounter with God’s holiness revealed his own unclean lips and led to his purification and commissioning. Likewise, Moses, Jacob, and Saul of Tarsus were never the same after their encounters with God.<\/p>\n
Rev. Chikwem challenged believers to identify and remove every “Uzziah” hindering their spiritual growth, warning that many voices and distractions often block people from hearing God clearly. He stressed that no pastor, title, or human personality should replace Jesus Christ as the focus of the believer’s faith.<\/p>\n
“Any ministry that does not point people to Jesus has missed its purpose,” he declared. “I do not forgive sins; I do not heal. It is Jesus Christ who saves, forgives, heals, and transforms.”<\/p>\n
The sermon culminated in a passionate call for believers to seek a fresh touch from God, one capable of breaking limitations, restoring spiritual sensitivity, and bringing lasting transformation.<\/p>\n
The service concluded with powerful deliverance, restoration, and prophetic prayers, as worshippers cried out to God for freedom from every spiritual hindrance and for a deeper encounter with His presence.<\/p>\n
Indeed, the message was clear: one touch from God can change everything.<\/p>\n
