The General Overseer of Deeper Life Church, Pastor Williams F. Kumuyi has debunked reports of his alleged relocation to the United Kingdom.<\/span><\/p>\n Writing in a message posted on the Facebook page of Cross River State Deeper Life, the man\u00a0 stated that the rumour was misleading.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cYou must have read that I relocated to the UK,\u201d he said, before asking, \u201cDid I relocate?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Pastor Kumuyi, whilst clarifying the situation, explained that, \u201cI did not relocate anywhere. I travelled for a crusade and conference, and because of the time difference, the events couldn\u2019t be transmitted back home.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cSome countries, like the one I visited in May, have about five hours of time difference. When it is 7 am here, it will be 2 am there. There\u2019s no way I could transmit that here because of the time difference.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Furthermore, he clarified: \u201cI visited many countries in the United Arab Emirates preaching the gospel.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIt was a long trip, and after that, I needed a few days to rest to avoid returning weary and unable to preach. So I waited. And because I spent that time, they told you that I have relocated.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The cleric told the church to remain focused and refuse to be moved by misleading information.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cYou will not believe a lie,\u201d he prayed. \u201cIn our church, people creeping in are careless and corrupt.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThey deliberately want to poison your mind against your pastor.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cNobody will do that to you. Someone hears that the General Superintendent of Deeper Life has relocated to England, and you read that without understanding.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThey want to scatter us and say, \u2018What are you still doing there? Your pastor has relocated to England.\u2019 They tell other people, and those people tell more people.
