The atmosphere at Acts of Restoration and Compassion Church on Sunday, May 17, was charged with intense worship, prophetic fire, and deep spiritual revelations as worshippers gathered for another life-transforming service in God\u2019s presence.<\/p>\n
The service commenced with heartfelt praise and worship sessions led by the church choir, ushering the congregation into an atmosphere saturated with God\u2019s glory. The sound of worship echoed through the sanctuary as burdens were lifted and hearts prepared for divine encounter.<\/p>\n
Thereafter, Mommy Favour Chikwem led the congregation in fervent prayers, stirring the church into deeper realms of intercession, groaning, and spiritual travail. The prayers ignited fresh hunger in the hearts of worshippers as many poured out their souls before God like Hannah of old.<\/p>\n

As the Lead Pastor, Rev Paul Chikwem, mounted the altar, the atmosphere shifted further with explosive prophetic declarations released upon the congregation. Words of restoration, divine remembrance, open doors, and supernatural lifting flowed powerfully before he transitioned into soulful worship songs that drew many into tears and heartfelt surrender before God.<\/p>\n
Preaching from First Samuel 1 on\u00a0 the account of Hannah and Eli, Rev. Chikwem delivered a deeply spiritual and thought-provoking message centered on the danger of assumptions, spiritual insensitivity, and superficial judgment in the body of Christ.<\/p>\n
Drawing from the scripture where Eli concluded Hannah was drunk merely because her lips moved silently in prayer, the pastor warned believers against concluding about people without spiritual discernment or proper understanding.<\/p>\n

\u201cAssumption is always easy,\u201d he declared. \u201cBefore you judge, verify very well. Not everyone talking to himself on the street is mad. Hannah came to meet God, but Eli started judging her.\u201d<\/p>\n
The sermon exposed the dangers of pretentious holiness, spiritual pride, and acting as gatekeepers before God\u2019s throne of mercy. He emphasized that many people come to church wounded, burdened, and silently fighting battles unknown to others.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere are dimensions of prayer,\u201d he taught. \u201cIntercession, travailing, groaning, weeping. Hannah was deeply in prayer, but Eli misread her because he was not spiritually sensitive.\u201d<\/p>\n
The congregation was further admonished never to abandon God because of offense from men. Rev. Chikwem noted that many believers lose their blessings because they allow anger and discouragement to drive them away from church.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe seat may be hot,\u201d he said, \u201cbut if you keep sitting, it will cool. Don\u2019t let anybody force you out of your place of blessing.\u201d<\/p>\n
In one of the most profound moments of the message, the pastor declared that the same mouth that accused Hannah later became the mouth through which prophecy came forth concerning her miracle. He stressed that God can use the same people who once misunderstood or mocked someone to later announce their testimony.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen men conclude on you, your explanation may become inconsequential,\u201d he preached, \u201cbut God will give you a testimony that will terminate every insult.\u201d<\/p>\n
The message also highlighted the mystery behind intensified battles before breakthrough, reminding believers that the closer a person gets to their miracle, the tougher the warfare may become.<\/p>\n
Using Hannah\u2019s eventual birth of Samuel as a prophetic picture, Rev. Chikwem described Samuel as \u201ca voice against voices\u201d \u2014 the physical evidence that permanently silenced Peninnah\u2019s mockery and ended Hannah\u2019s years of secret tears.<\/p>\n
\u201cGod will give you your own Samuel,\u201d he prophesied. \u201cAn evidence that will silence every contrary voice.\u201d<\/p>\n
The service ended with renewed hope, deep encouragement, and fresh strength for believers to remain steadfast in God despite opposition, misunderstanding, or delay.<\/p>\n

A major highlight of the service was the distraction of over 400 bags of rice to the worshippers.<\/p>\n
