The atmosphere at the Acts of Restoration and Compassion, ARC, Church on Sunday was filled with expectation, joy, and spiritual warmth as worshippers gathered to explore what it truly means to live with the presence of God.
\nThe service opened with prayer, which dovetailed into vibrant praise and worship, leading the congregation into a deep sense of gratitude and surrender. Songs echoed declarations of God\u2019s faithfulness, strength, and nearness, setting the tone for a powerful encounter.<\/p>\n
In the message titled \u201cWhen The Lord Is With You,\u201d the Lead Pastor, Rev. Paul Chikwem, reminded everyone that God\u2019s presence is not just a promise for the future but a powerful reality for today. <\/p>\n
The minister stressed that God\u2019s blessings are not restricted by geography or circumstances. While location may play a role in human affairs, destiny is ultimately anchored on divine presence. \u201cWhatever is tied to God cannot be hampered,\u201d he declared.<\/p>\n
Using the story of Joseph, who was sold into slavery and taken to Egypt, the preacher noted that although Joseph was brought down physically, he never remained down spiritually or materially. Despite betrayal by his iwn brothers and being sold to an Egyptian outside the covenant, Scripture repeatedly affirms that \u201cthe Lord was with Joseph,\u201d and he prospered even in a foreign land.

\nThe message underscored that prosperity is attached to God\u2019s presence, not merely position or title. A priest who ignores kingdom principles may struggle, while a servant who obeys divine laws may rise. According to Rev. Chikwem, God\u2019s principles work universally, \u201cEven unbelievers who obey principles prosper.\u201d<\/p>\n
Drawing from Romans 8:31, the congregation was reminded that God\u2019s presence is not merely a hopeful wish but a decisive verdict: \u201cIf God be for us, who can be against us?\u201d The minister explained that when someone says, \u201cMay God be with you,\u201d it is more than a greeting; it is the release of divine treasure.<\/p>\n
However, the sermon carried a strong warning against assuming God\u2019s presence. Referencing 1 Samuel 4, the preacher recounted how Israel presumed victory simply by bringing the Ark of the Covenant into battle, only to suffer defeat because God\u2019s presence was not truly with them. Likewise, Samson assumed his strength remained after Delilah cut his hair, not realizing the Spirit had departed from him.<\/p>\n
\u201cDo not assume God is with you,\u201d the minister cautioned. \u201cBe certain.\u201d He urged believers to examine themselves continually, noting that years in church or outward activity do not guarantee divine backing.<\/p>\n
The congregation was further reminded of Mary and Joseph\u2019s experience when they unknowingly left young Jesus behind in Jerusalem, assuming He was among their company. \u201cWhere did you leave Jesus?\u201d the charismatic Man of God asked pointedly. \u201cOn the altar of gossip? Assumption? Disobedience?\u201d He urged members to replace assumption with assurance.

\nReferencing Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, the message highlighted the confidence that comes with certainty of God\u2019s presence. Like lion cubs secure under their mother\u2019s watch, believers who are assured of God\u2019s nearness can stand firm before any fiery trial.<\/p>\n
The sermon concluded with a declaration that those who carry God\u2019s presence enjoy what was described as \u201cinvisible advantage\u201d, divine help that lifts them above limitations. <\/p>\n
