The social-media has been set ago with a viral video that has pitted Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels against her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.<\/p>\n
The video showed a weeping Daniels being consoled by friends as she says she can no longer tolerate alleged abuse in the hands of her husband.<\/p>\n
According to her: \u201cIn Ned Nwoko\u2019s house, I am nothing, but in my house, I am a queen. Not again, I cannot stand the violence, it is too much,\u201d <\/p>\n
Sammy West, the actress’\u2019 brother, also made a post on his Instagram story and alleged that Nwoko physically assaulted his sister, fled the scene and later sent men to intimidate the family.<\/p>\n
He claimed that it was not the first time the senator had abused Daniels but vowed to defend his sister.<\/p>\n
However, defending himself, Nwoko attributed Daniel’s outburst \u201cdrug-influenced\u201d and \u201cunprovoked carnage.\u201d<\/p>\n
He claimed that the actress was battling drug and alcohol abuse, blaming this as the cause of the crisis in their marriage. <\/p>\n
\u201cRegina was not always like this. Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe must continue her rehabilitation programme, or I fear for her life and safety,\u201d Nwoko said in a lengthy post and a short video shared on his Instagram handle, #princenednwoko on Sunday.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe slapped and hit three staff in the past 48 hours and destroyed property, including cars and windows, for no just cause.<\/p>\n
\u201cNow she has moved to a place where she will have unrestricted access to drugs.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to Nwoko, he had offered his wife two rehabilitation options in Asokoro or Jordan, \u201cwhere she will not have access to drugs,\u201d alleging that the scene at home was worsened by the interference of Regina\u2019s associates, whom he described as \u201cdrug suppliers.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWhile I took Moon to the hospital, a scene of chaos unfolded at home, orchestrated by Sammy, Regina\u2019s main drug supplier,” he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnother known supplier of drugs to Regina is the tiny evil devil called Ann,\u201d he alleged.<\/p>\n
