Orlu in Imo State has been thrown into mourning, following the killing of a 75-year-old man allegedly by his own son during dispute over proceeds from a land sale.<\/p>\n

Consequently, the Imo State Police Command has arrested the 39-year-old suspect, identified as Ifeanyi Odinka.<\/p>\n

The abominable act occurred in Amaifeke, Orlu in the Orlu Local Government Area of the state.<\/p>\n

According to a statement by Henry Okoye, the Imo State Police spokesperson, on Wednesday, \u201cOperatives of the Orlu Division, on 12th August, 2025, apprehended one Ifeanyi Odinka, \u2018m\u2019, 39 years, of Amaifeke Orlu, for stabbing his father, Dennis Odinka, \u2018m\u2019, 75 years, to death following a dispute over proceeds from a land sale. On interrogation, the suspect confessed to the crime.\u201d<\/p>\n
