Emmanuel Ehioma, a Catholic priest, has asked repeated viewers of the now-viral Ibom Air passenger footage to head for confession.<\/p>\n

Ehioma warned that rewatching the footage crosses a moral line.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, videos shared on X showed Comfort Emmanson, a passenger, hitting a flight attendant on an Ibom Air plane and confronting airport security officials.<\/p>\n

Ibom Air imposed a travel restriction on the passenger for her conduct.<\/p>\n

In the initial videos shared, Emmanson\u2019s shirt was noticeably torn amid the scuffle.<\/p>\n

Afterwards, more videos surfaced showing the passenger being forcefully dragged off the aircraft, with her clothes torn and her breasts fully exposed as she made to conceal them.<\/p>\n

The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) called for the prosecution of those who captured and published the \u201cunedited\u201d video of the passenger.<\/p>\n

In a Facebook post on Tuesday, Ehioma acknowledged that viewers of the video did not sin initially because they did not expect what was coming.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut if you went back to watch it again, you have to go for confession,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis post doesn\u2019t need to make you feel good,\u201d he added, equating watching the video to viewing adult videos and obscene pictures.<\/p>\n
