{"id":6549,"date":"2025-06-19T12:02:27","date_gmt":"2025-06-19T12:02:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/panoramanews.com.ng\/?p=6549"},"modified":"2025-06-19T12:02:27","modified_gmt":"2025-06-19T12:02:27","slug":"defamation-natasha-storms-court-with-husband","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/panoramanews.com.ng\/index.php\/2025\/06\/19\/defamation-natasha-storms-court-with-husband\/","title":{"rendered":"Defamation: Natasha storms court with husband"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-6550\" src=\"https:\/\/panoramanews.com.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Screenshot_20250619-122837-300x219.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"219\" srcset=\"https:\/\/panoramanews.com.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Screenshot_20250619-122837-300x219.jpg 300w, https:\/\/panoramanews.com.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Screenshot_20250619-122837.jpg 452w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<div dir=\"auto\">By Amah<br \/>\nKindly Share:<\/p>\n<p>Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, the Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District,\u00a0arrived at the Federal Territory High Court to defend herself in a case instituted against her by the Federal Government.<\/p>\n<p>The Federal government is prosecuting Natasha in two courts over allegations of defamation against the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, and former governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello.<\/p><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Natasha, who had accused the duo of planning to assassinate her, arrived the court along with her husband.<\/p>\n<p>The suspended lawmaker had earlier told her supporters that she began to face trouble for her refusal to yield to sexual harassment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRemember, it all started because I said no to sexual harassment\u2026 and I\u2019m so proud I did!,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor my handsome, kindhearted and loving husband is more than enough for me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Oby Ezekwesili, a former Minister of Education, waded into the case, saying the arraignment of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan today by the Federal Government was a case against all reasonable Nigerian people.<\/p><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nIn a post oh her X handle, Ezekwesili posted: \u201cSenator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.
