Simon Ekpa, the self-acclaimed Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government in Exile, BRGIE,\u00a0 on Wednesday denied being a member of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.<\/p>\n

He shocked social media when he was arraigned in a Finnish court on terror-related charges, claiming that he was just a content creator, who uses his leisure to create videos and other contents.<\/p>\n

Ekpa told the court during cross-examination that\u00a0he did not have anything to do with the Nnamdi Kanu-led IPOB, despite being the founder of Auto-Pilot, a breakaway group from the mainstream IPOB.<\/p>\n

Many social media users, especially on X resorted to poking fun at him for denying the IPOB he was very much involved with.<\/p><\/div>\n

\nOne X user writing on the handle @JJ Omojuwa said: “I understand IPOB Prime Minister Simon Ekpa told the Finnish court prosecuting him that he is not a member of IPOB. That he is a \u201ccontent creator.\u201d<\/div>\n

\u201cIs the Plime Mister denying his republic? He is finished and case never even start. By the way, he is also a content creator. They converted views to cash.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u00a0@Chinex, wrote:\u00a0\u201cJust finished listening to Simon Ekpa\u2019s court proceedings, and I\u2019m honestly in disbelief. During cross-examination, he completely distanced himself from IPOB, claiming he\u2019s merely a content creator. According to him, everything he\u2019s done was simply \u2018acting\u2019, nothing more.\u201d<\/p>\n

Out of curiosity, he did some digging and found it was allegedly a coded phrase Simon used whenever he gave orders to his boys in Alaigbo to go and kill.\u201d<\/p>\n
