IPOB, has lauded the efforts of the Unify Igbos Now Initiative in Igbanke, Edo State, and other broader movements to strengthen Igbo unity, identity, and cultural pride across Nigeria.<\/div>\n

Mazi Kanu’s message\u00a0 was conveyed through his team of lawyers\u00a0 at Friday’s routine visitation to the IPOB leader, who expressed profound gratitude and optimism for the achievements of the Unify Igbos Now initiative in Igbanke (Igbo Akiri).<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
He\u00a0 describes the effort as “just the beginning” of a transformative journey toward Igbo unity and self-assertion, affirming that the movement could not have come without the divine guidance of Almighty God, and expressed confidence that greater accomplishments are on the horizon for the Igbo nation.<\/div>\n

Kanu who urged his legal to highlight the positive tragectory of efforts towards unity of Ndigbo, maintained that the vison behind the Unify Igbos Now Initiative ties perfectly with the inspiration behind IPOB, and acknowledged the leadership of Ohan\u00e9z\u00e8 Ndigbo ably lead by Senator John Azuta-Mbata.<\/div>\n

“Mazi Kanu commends the increasing courage of Igbos across Nigeria in embracing and asserting their origin, ancestry, and cultural heritage. This resurgence of pride is a testament to the resilience of the Igbo people in the face of historical and ongoing challenges.<\/div>\n

“IPOB\u2019s long-standing commitment to recognizing and uniting Igbos across the 13 states of the South East, South South, and Middle Belt has been vindicated. Despite past vilification, the success of initiatives like Unify IGBOS Now underscores the correctness of IPOB\u2019s inclusive approach to Igbo identity, which transcends artificial geopolitical boundaries.<\/div>\n

“Mazi Kanu warmly acknowledges the congratulatory message from Senator John Azuta-Mbata, President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, to our Igbo brothers and sisters in Igbanke. This gesture reinforces the collaborative spirit needed to advance the collective interests of Ndigbo.<\/div>\n
