The Supreme Court has on Friday issued an order directing the Martins Amaewhule-led faction of the Rivers State House of Assembly to resume legislative activities.<\/p>\n

The apex court in a landmark judgement also upheld the ruling of a Federal High Court, which barred the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, and the Accountant-General of the Federation from disbursing statutory monthly allocations to Rivers State.<\/p>\n
\n

Amaewhule, alongside 26 other members in his\u00a0 his faction are known loyalists of Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, and former governor of Rivers State.<\/p>\n
