The United States President Donald Trump may have set his eyes on running for the presidency for a third term.<\/div>\n
\n
\n

This is coming barely one week after his inauguration as the 47th President of the United States, for a second term.<\/p>\n

The Constitution of the United States does not permit anyone to be elected President more than twice but Trump said he has raised enough finances to run for a third term.<\/p>\n

Andy Ogles, a Republican House member, had, last week, introduced a bill seeking to allow Trump to run for a third term.<\/p>\n

According to the lawmaker, Trump \u201chas proven himself to be the only figure in modern history\u201d capable of \u201crestoring America to greatness\u201d.<\/p>\n

However, while speaking with House Republicans at a gathering on Monday, Trump said: \u201cI\u2019ve raised a lot of money for the next race that I assume I can\u2019t use for myself, but I\u2019m not 100 percent sure.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think I\u2019m not allowed to run again. Am I allowed to run again?\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump turned his attention to Mike Johnson, the House Speaker,\u00a0\u00a0and asked: \u201cMike, I better not get you involved in that.\u201d<\/p>\n

The speaker, who was a former constitutional lawyer, chuckled at Trump\u2019s comments, as other lawmakers at the event also had a good laugh.<\/p>\n

Trump had previously dismissed suggestions that he would seek a third term.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

However , after emerging victorious in last year’s presidential election, he hinted<\/div>\n

\u00a0during a chat with Republican lawmakers that it would not be a bad idea to run for a third term<\/p>\n
