A 28-year old father, Andrey Demskiy has allegedly beheaded his one-year-old son, Micha, with ‘ a knife’ and injured his wife and mother-in-law.<\/p>\n
A resident of California, United States, Demsky was arrested after neighbours placed a call to 911 to report about a ‘family disturbance.’ at 4;15am on December 20.<\/p>\n
Police patrol from the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, SCSO, responded to the call and met Demsky’s wife and mother-in-law outside the house, who told them they had been attacked and assaulted by Demsky and that a child was inside with him. They also told the police that they believed Demsky would have assaulted the child as at the time the police arrived.<\/p>\n
Police approached the entrance and asked Demskiy to open the door and surrender peacefully but he refused.<\/p>\n
Having refused to cooperate with the police, the door was forced open and Demsky physically attacked the police while trying to resist arrest.<\/p>\n
While searching the house, police found the severed head of the child in one of the bedrooms.<\/p>\n
According to the Sheriff\u2019s Child Abuse Bureau Detectives, as well as crime scene investigators, who arrived at the scene, it was discovered Demskiy used a knife to “behead and murder” the one-year-old child.<\/p>\n
Demsky was arrested and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail, where he remains in custody without bail.<\/p>\n
He was charged with ‘assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury, corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant and murder’ and will appear in court today, December 24.<\/p>\n
A $25,000 GoFundMe campaign was launched by friends of the family to support the boy’s mother, Angelina, however, over $57,000 have been donated which exceeded the initial target.<\/p>\n
