Umo Eno,\u00a0\u00a0proscribed the Ibom Youth Council, following the illegal activities its members were involved in.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">She revealed that acting on reliable intelligence, a joint security team stormed the group\u2019s secretariat complex at Ikot Isighe in Mkpat Enin Local Government Area, adding that there suspects were arrested while the secretariat complex was demolished in the process.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u201cOur findings reveal that the group has begun to procure arms, commenced military training, and has started causing security threats,&#8221; she said.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n\u201cFollowing the proscription of the group, we have a directive to immediately end the nefarious activities of its members.<br \/>\n\u201cThe plan of the group is to soon commence a full-scale disruption of law and order in the state.\u201d<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nThe Command&#8217;s spokesperson warned landlords in the state against renting their property to questionable groups or individuals, adding that properties used to perpetrate crime in the state would be demolished, and the owners treated as accomplices.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<p>She also urged residents of the state to go about their lawful duties, saying that the police was committed to effective protection of lives and property.<\/p>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nJohn also stressed the need for vigilance by the residents and advised them to report suspicious movements within their neighborhoods to security agents.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Publisher Kindly share: Operatives of the Akwa Ibom Police command\u00a0has demolished the secretariat complex of the proscribed Ibom Youth&hellip;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":3721,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[294,2],"tags":[946],"class_list":["post-3720","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-entertainment-showbiz","category-news","tag-ibom-youths-council"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v22.8 -
