The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has announced that it has busted a shrine where illicit drugs are hidden in Lagos.<\/p>\n

The discovery, which was made at Alfa Beach in the Ajah area of the state led to the arrest of two suspects, identified as Gbenga Abiodun and Sunday Abiodun.<\/p>\n

Femi Babafemi, the NDLEA spokesman, disclosed in a statement on Sunday, that bags of Ghanaian Loud and cannabis were discovered at the shrine.<\/p><\/div>\n

\nAccording to the statement: \u201cNDLEA operatives in Lagos on Friday 25th October raided the Igbo \u2013 Igunuko shrine, located at the Alfa Beach, Ajah, where jumbo bags of Ghanaian Loud, a strain of cannabis, weighing 2,760kg were recovered and two suspects: Gbenga Abiodun and Sunday Abiodun arrested.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u201cAnother suspect, Ademola Oyelakin was also arrested the same day with 770kg of the same psychoactive substance along Lagos-Ibadan expressway.\u201d<\/p>\n

Furthermore, Babafemi said,\u00a0 another suspect was on Wednesday October 23, arrested at Pilgani village in Plateau State.<\/p><\/div>\n

\nThe suspect, 39-year-old Fadan Bindom,\u00a0\u00a0was nabbed with 65.85kg cannabis and 18 grams of tramadol.<\/div>\n

Similarly, on the same day, one Sunday Agbata, 42, was also arrested at Pavwei \u2013 Rayfield in Jos South LGA with 5,830 tablets and ampoules of bromazepam, diazepam and pentazocine injection.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
