Bimbo Akintola, an A-list Nollywood actress, has given reasons she is still not married\u00a0at 54.<\/p>\n
The enterprising actress bared her mind in an interview with Emmanuel Ehumadu, explaining that her single status is because she is not ready to get married to someone she would not be willing to fully invest in lifelong vows.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe died\u2026I don\u2019t talk about it but he died. Do you know how long it took me to find him, a very long time but he is gone,” Bimbo said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t believe that you get married for marriage\u2019s sake. If you are not going to be truthful to your vows, then why are you doing it? The person wey me fit do forever for don die.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s gone. I am not saying that you can\u2019t have two or three loves in your lifetime but do you know how long it took me to find that one that I knew I could stay with?\u201d<\/p>\n
However, Bimbo has not totally closed her mind to marriage and would be ready to give it a shot if the right man to spend the rest of her life with comes along, even if she is old at the time, according to her.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf I ever see someone and I see forever with that person, I will do it even if I am 82, I will do it but I won\u2019t do it if I don\u2019t see that person,” the veteran actress, who posited.<\/p><\/div>\n
\n\u201cI am not able to just stress myself out for anything. Do you know how difficult marriage is? It is difficult, it is very difficult and you will now go on and do it with someone you know you can\u2019t do forever with.\u201d<\/p>\n
