Justice John Tsoho, the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, FHC, has returned the Federal Government\u2019s case against Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, to Justice Binta Nyako.<\/p>\n

Justice Nyako had, on Sept. 24, recused herself from the trial Kanu, following his outburst in court where in he made an oral applications for the withdrawal of the judge from the case.<\/p>\n

However,\u00a0Justice Tsoho decided to revert to Justice Nyako for Kanu to make a formal request to the court through a motion on notice, giving reasons he no longer wants Justice Nyako to continue trying him.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is expected that the defendant will now duly serve the Federal Government, through the Office of the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, a copy of the motion for the prosecution\u2019s response,\u201d it was gathered.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n\u201cThe parties will address the court and a decision will be taken by the judge.\u201d<\/div>\n
