\u00a0<\/span>A six year old girl’s body has been discovered\u00a0 after she was raped and killed by her principal and guardian\uff0c Govind Nat, in the Gujarat\u2019s Dahod district, India.<\/p>\n According to the Senior police officer Rajdeep Singh Jhala, the girl, who was in\u00a0 Class 1 was choked to death by the principal after she initially resisted, which infuriated the accused and killed her after sexually assaulting her.<\/span><\/p>\n India Today reports that during the investigation, the police found that the parents had sent the girl to school with the school principal, Govind Nat, in his car.<\/span><\/p>\n When she didn’t return from school, the girl’s parents asked Nat about her whereabouts, and he said that he had dropped her at school.<\/span><\/p>\n Following an investigation, the police took Govind Nat into custody and questioned him.<\/span><\/p>\n During the interrogation, Nat confessed to killing the girl as she resisted his attempts to rape her.<\/span><\/p>\n Nat further said that when he tried to rape the girl, she started screaming. He put his hands on her mouth tightly to stop her screaming.<\/span><\/p>\n However, the girl died, following which he hid her in the back of the car.<\/span><\/p>\n After that, Govind Nat went to school as usual and taught the students. After the classes ended, he returned to the car, dumped her belongings near the school gate and left the girl’s body behind the classroom.<\/span><\/p>\n Following investigation into her death, the police\u00a0 arrested the 55-year-old principal.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Jhala said the girl\u2019s corpse was found on the school premises\u00a0 and a post-mortem conducted indicated that she was choked to death.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n According to the girl\u2019s mother, the principal was the victim’s guardian, who usually took her to school everyday\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Initially, when interrogated, the principal reportedly denied involvement in the murder, claiming he had dropped\u00a0 the girl at the school and left for some work on the day of the incident.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Not convinced of the principal’s claim, the police investigated his phone location details on the day of the incident, and discovered that he arrived at school late that day.\u00a0 On further interrogation, Nat confessed to raping and killing the girl.<\/span><\/p>\n Narrating how Nat killed the girl, the police stated that around 10.20 am on the day of the incident, the principal picked the girl from home in the presence of her mother who helped her get into the principal\u2019s car and saw her off.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “On the way to school, the principal tried to sexually assault her, and she started shouting. The principal choked the girl to stop her from shouting.\u00a0 On reaching the school, the principal left the girl\u2019s body in his car and locked the vehicle.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0\u201cAround 5 pm, he dumps the body behind the school building and plants her school bag and shoes outside her classroom. He denied this initially, but we suspected him after the technical analysis,\u201d Mr Jhala said.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Reacting to the incident, the State Education Minister Kuber Dindor described the incident as a’ shameful incident for the society.’<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0\u201cI am pained by this. We were following this up for three days. We had told the police to get to the bottom of this. The principal has been arrested.
