Drama as Kaduna court remands man to \u2018think of how to provide for his 4 children\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0A Shari\u2019a Court in Kaduna on Wednesday ordered that a man should be remanded for some time to enable him think and come up with plans of how he will provide for the welfare of his four children.<\/span><\/p>\n The petitioner and mother of children, Hajara Sani, had prayed the court to help her recover some of her properties from the man, Musa Hussaini.<\/span><\/p>\n She claimed that the accused had sold her two chairs and a television and made her sell her bed.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI gave him the money I got from selling the bed shortly before he divorced me,\u201d Hajara said.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI want the court to confirm the three pronouncements of divorce Hussaini made to me. I also want the court to order my former husband to be responsible for the upkeep of our four children,\u201d she said.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0Hussaini confirmed making three pronouncements of divorce at intervals.<\/span><\/p>\n However, he said he sold the items with the consent of the complainant and used the proceeds to repair his vulcanizing tools.<\/span><\/p>\n According to him, he sold the television and chairs for N5,000, adding that the\u00a0 complainant gave him N6500 after the bed was sold.<\/span><\/p>\n Hussaini prayed the court to allow him to pay her installmentally, proposing to pay her N2000 weekly.<\/span><\/p>\n On the children’s welfare, he said he had no plans for them.<\/span><\/p>\n However, the presiding judge, Malam Mukhtar Aliyu, ordered that he should be remanded to enable him to think on how to provide for his children.<\/span><\/p>\n Thereafter, the case was adjourned until Sept. 25 for further hearing.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" By Amah Kindly share: Drama as Kaduna court remands man to \u2018think of how to provide for his 4 children\u2019…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":2336,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[7,2],"tags":[690,689],"class_list":["post-2333","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-family","category-news","tag-divorce","tag-sharia-court"],"yoast_head":"\n
