The Lagos State Police Command on Wednesday announced that its operatives have arrested a notorious armed robbery and cultism suspect.<\/span><\/p>\n

The suspect, who is known as and popularly called Morak, was arrested in the Igando in Alimosho Local Government Area\u00a0 the state.<\/span><\/p>\n

He is said to have been\u00a0 terrorising residents of Lanre, Oko filling, and Egan in the Igando axis.<\/span><\/p>\n

The suspect had reportedly killed and maimed innocent citizens, disarmed police officers, and escaped with their guns on several occasions.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, luck finally ran out on the suspect, who was alleged to have been arrested multiple times before but was released when he was finally nabbed Celestial Road in Igando on August 15, 2024, while on robbery operation with some of his gang members in broad daylight.<\/span><\/p>\n

Residents expressed appreciation to the Igando Divisional Police Officer, DPO, Kabir Suleiman, a Chief Superintendent of Police, CSP, and his team for a good job. They insisted, however, that the authorities must ensure that the suspect does not return to the area.<\/span><\/p>\n
