Kim Kardashian, American reality star, has lamented that she\u2019s \u201cturning into a full robot\u201d with \u201cno emotion\u201d because of the trauma she suffered after she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris, France.<\/span><\/p>\n Speaking on the July 18 episode of The Kardashians, the celebrity spoke with Khloe Kardashian, her sister about her struggle with mental health.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201c[My therapist] was like, \u2018You think calm is your superpower. I think you are so desensitised from trauma that you literally are frozen in fight or flight,’\u201d she recalled. \u201cSo then she was like, \u2018One time in life something happened, and you remained calm, and that worked for you. So, you will always choose calm.’\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Khloe suggested that Kim\u2019s 2016 Paris robbery ordeal could be the trauma behind her tendency to remain calm.<\/span><\/p>\n She said before the incident Kim wasn\u2019t calm before.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cYou were never calm as a teenager, in your 20s. You cried about everything. You were bratty. You threw tantrums. Everything stopped after you got robbed, because you stayed calm in that situation and you even said, \u2018My calmness is what kept me alive,’\u201d Khloe added.<\/span><\/p>\n In a private conversation with cameras, Kim reflected on the events of her robbery and how the traumatic incident has affected her mental health.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cImagine you\u2019re like, gun to your head, getting tied up, dragged across a hotel room, and the guy, I remember him telling me, \u2018Just like, stay calm and you\u2019ll live.\u2019 And I did that,\u201d she said.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201c[It] served me well at that time, and I think it saved my life.
