The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has shut down its result check portal.
The temporary shut down of the result checker portal is to enable the council to resolve issues.
However, according to a statement released by Mrs Moyosola Adesina, the Head of Public Affairs unit of WAEC Nigeria on Wednesday evening, the council promised that this would be resolved within the next 24 hours.
“WAEC Nigeria hereby informs the general public that the result checker portal @waecdirect.org is temporarily shut down due to technical issues,” the statement read.
“However, the Council is working assiduously to ensure that candidates are able to access their results in the next 24 hours.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this might have caused.”
