Cynthia Chukwunda, the pregnant 300L student of the university of Port Harcourt who was accused of setting her estranged lover on fire has given her own side of the story.

This is what she said in the video

‎”He has been calling me, somebody we had issues for a very long time we are no longer together. That week he has been calling me sending me several text messages that I should come and eat, he wants to buy me food. I said ahhh which kind of food, I’m okay did I tell you that food is my problem in choba please leave me alone.

‎All of a sudden that particular night I went out to get something came back to the house and I saw candle. Someone lit candle in my house and cleaned the bed. I thought it is my younger sister Benita so when I went outside one lady said this guy has been waiting for you for over twenty minutes that didn’t I see him, he just walked to the main road. I just said ahhh what for and I went back to the house offed the candle only for him to come back. I told him I don’t lit candle in my house I use my phone torch. With that darkness he lit another candle and he came with one lucozade ragolis. I never knew it was fuel, I never knew his plan.

‎So when we were having arguments that night I was sitting on my bed with one side, one of my leg down on my bed. When we were arguing I was pushing him to leave the house I don’t want to see him already I have someone I want to get married to he should get out!

‎During that argument he pushed the ragolis and the candle and the thing exploded because he was close to the bed. I had to rush out immediately he was inside the house. I rushed out to save myself and that is how I sustained this injury.so, I don’t know the one I am hearing that was how it happened”
