Unidentified gunmen have reportedly unleashed mayhem in Benue State, still grappling with the horrors of recent unrelenting attacks.
The gunmen attacked a popular bar around the Okada Office in Akpehe area, Makurdi, the state capital, killing mo fewer than ten persons.
It was gathered that the gunmen, who were suspected to be cultists, descended on the area at about 8pm on Sunday and opened fire on patrons at the bar.
Apart from the more than 10 dead persons, many others sustained various degrees of injuries.
Residents havd reportedly since fled the area, as the gunmen continued shooting sporadically.
