The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja in Friday affirmed Julius Abure as the National Chairman of the Labour Party.
The three-member panel of the court upheld the March 2024 Nnewi, Anambra State convention that produced the Abure-led national leadership.
The appellate court also upheld the earlier decision of Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court, Abuja, which ruled that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, should accord the Abure-led Labour Party Abure all the rights and privileges of a duly registered political party in Nigeria.
