The Warri Refining & Petrochemicals Company, WRPC. has begun production at a capacity of 125,000 barrels per day.
Mele Kyari, the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, announced this development on Monday.
The Refinery is to produce at a capacity of 125,000 barrels per day.
Kyari visited the facility earlier in the day, and addressed a team on the tour.
“We are taking you through our plant. This plant is running. It is not 100 percent. We are still in the process. Many people think these things are not real. They think real things are not possible in this country. We want you to see that this is real.”
The Refinery is to produce at a capacity of 125,000 barrels per day.
Farouk Ahmen, the Chief Executive Officer, Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority, NMDPRA, was also on in the tour team.
