The hide and seek game between the immediate past Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, may have ended.

Bello, who has been in a running battle over his failure to honour invitation by the anti-graft agency over alleged misappropriation of funds on Tuesday again presented himself to the EFCC.

Accompanied by his lawyers, the former governor drove himself in to the EFCC office in a black Toyota Hilux to the EFCC office.
Bello’s decision to suddenly appear at EFCC office after evading the agency for months could be as a result the dismissal the suit filed by some state governments, including Kogi, at the Supreme Court, challenging the legality of the EFCC establishment.
The apex court had in it’s ruling thrashed the suit of the state governments, saying  the anti-graft agency was constitutionally and legally created.
