Halima Abubakar, a Nollywood actress, has sought the forgiveness of Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries for defaming him.
In an apology letter to the cleric, Abubakar confessed to spreading falsehood him and thereby hurting him, using social media.
Recall that Halima Abubakar fell seriously ill in 2022 after he had issues with Apostle Suleman.
Following her illness, her family called out the Man of God on social media, warning him to leave her alone.
However, in a dramatic twist that has taken many by surprise, Halima, in a letter of apology to Suleman, begged for his forgiveness, expressing deep regrets for her actions.
“I admit that I made false allegations against you and also regret my action and the damage I caused to you, your wife, Dr Lizzy Suleman, your family and the leaders of the Omega Fire Ministry,” the letter read.
“With this letter, I humbly ask for forgiveness, recognising that my apology cannot undo the harm, pain and distress I caused and I ask you to find a place in your heart to forgive me as I was not thinking right then.
“I’m truly sorry for all the hurts and distress I caused you, your family and ministry.”
