Toyin Adegbola, Nollywood veteran, has ruled out cheating as enough reason for divorce.
Adegbola noted that any woman who walks out of her marriage because of cheating is unwise because it is difficult to find a single man that would be ready to marry a divorcee.
The thespian advised such women to buy condoms for their philandering husbands instead of quitting their marriages.
Adegbola, who spoke in Yoruba during a recent Instagram Live session, said: “No matter how bad your husband is, don’t leave your matrimonial home because you won’t see a single man to marry you. Just be begging and buying condoms for him if he’s cheating.”
The veteran actress’ advice is coming in the heels of the crash of many marriages in the recent past, especially among celebrities.
The speed and rate at which these broken homes occur has become worrisome, as it threatens the stability of the marriage institution.
