Several people have reportedly died in a freak accident on Wednesday when a vehicle lost control and crashed into Oye Agu Market in Abagana, Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State.
According to sources, an unspecified number of people lost their lives while traders’ wares were also destroyed in the incident.
A trending video online media showed the crashed Toyota Sienna vehicle and some of the victims of the crash.
However, Engr. Ben Okongwu, President-General of Abagana community, who confirmed the incident, said at least three died, adding that the driver of the car lost control and crashed into the market known for selling tomatoes and food items.
