Nigeria’s female basketball team, D’Tigress, have recorded their first Olympics win in 20 years.
The African basketball champions beat highly favoured Australia 75-62 at the Pierre Mauroy Stadium, at the ongoing Paris Olympic Games.
Described as the biggest upset of the Olympics so far, the victory over the Opals was the first win of the Rena Wakama-led D’Tigress in an Olympic match since 2004.
