Caroline Hutchings, Scottish-Nigerian actress, has disclosed what he lost after divorce from her ex-husband, Musa Danjuma.

The beautiful Nigerian-Scottish actress recounted in a lengthy post on her Instagram page on Wednesday that she lost her identity and dreams after the divorce.

According to her, the split made her start life all over because of the rejection and discrimination she faced.

The post read: “I was once a promising makeup artist and hair guru, actress, film producer and fashion consultant. CEO Luxury Addict, CEO Kinetic Media. But I lost my identity and dreams because of divorce.

“I walked away from it all for my own sanity. I started my journey from scratch facing all the fake rumours, discriminations, rejections and uncertainties at 29+ years.

“A conversation that women who have walked the same part hate to talk about. A bittersweet journey to a place unknown. This is my story.”

Caroline and Musa, the younger brother of Gen. TY Danjuma, got married in 2007, but went their separate ways after nine years, in 2016 over alleged infidelity.

The marriage produced  three children, two boys and a girl.

In an earlier interview, Caroline had blamed herself “for not making a perfect marriage”, making her feel like a failure.

“I blamed myself for not making a perfect marriage, I blamed myself for both faults of ours until I started healing then I knew I was not a failure. I prayed to God for assistance most importantly to forgive myself and him. Rather than hate the outcome of what was, I chose love and peace of mind for what is,” she wrote.

“We both ain’t perfect and that is what makes us human. I dealt with the hurtful words from friends and strangers, the stigma and constant mockery without their knowledge of what truly happened… Some of us are better off as friends than lovers.”

However, Caroline, born to a Scottish father and a Nigerian mother, now says she has found her “lost identity” after putting the divorce from Danjuma behind her.
