The Transformation Media Team of Attorney Dr. Charles Onyirimba has highlighted his credentials and leadership capacity, describing him as a key figure capable of driving development and institutional progress in Okigwe Zone (Imo North Senatorial District) ahead of the 2027 political cycle.
In a press release issued on Monday, the media team portrayed Dr. Onyirimba as “an embodiment of intellectual capability and disciplined leadership,” citing his growing influence within the global legal community and his involvement in high-profile cases as evidence of his competence.
According to the statement, Dr. Onyirimba, an alumnus of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, has built a distinguished career marked by academic excellence and professional dedication.
The team noted that his legal practice spans corporate law, human rights, and intellectual property, making him “a versatile and dependable advocate in complex legal environments.”
The release further referenced recognitions attributed to the Nigerian Bar Association, describing him as one of the notable legal minds in the country.
The media team stated that Dr. Onyirimba’s vision for Okigwe Zone centres on justice, economic growth, and human capital development. It added that his leadership philosophy, anchored on integrity and knowledge-driven empowerment, positions him to address the region’s pressing socio-economic challenges.
Quoting Dr. Onyirimba, the statement read: “I remain committed to excellence, to empowering our people, and to building structures that will sustain growth and justice in our society.”
The group called on stakeholders, professionals, and residents of Okigwe Zone to rally around what it described as a “shared vision for progress,” urging collective participation in shaping the future of the region.
It charged the African Democratic Congress, ADC, to choose him to bear their flag in the election, describing him as the only credible and capable candidate that would give other contenders a good run and triumph.
While political activities ahead of 2027 continue to gather pace, the statement also alluded to growing support for Dr. Onyirimba within emerging political alignments, particularly among supporters of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
“The ADC would only be taken seriously if they give Onyirimba their ticket. There is no aspirant in the contest for the Okigwe Zone Senate seat that Onyirimba cannot trounce. Moreover, h going by his pedigree, the legal luminary deserves the ticket,” the statement declared.
The Transformation Media Team concluded by reaffirming its confidence in Dr. Onyirimba’s capacity to provide purposeful leadership, stating that his emergence will signal “a new era of excellence and accountable governance” for Okigwe Zone.
