Three victims of kidnapping have been rescued by the Kano State Police Command in two separate operations
According to a statement by Abdullahi Kiyawa, the command’s spokesperson, in Kano on Friday, the Anti-Kidnapping Squad, in collaboration with other units, conducted the operations in Kaduna State, where the victims were being held.
He said the rescued victims had been reunited with their families and were receiving medical attention.
Also, Ibrahim Bakori, the state Commissioner of Police, directed that the victims be given immediate medical attention and assured that the suspects would be apprehended and brought to justice.
The command expressed appreciation to the public for their support, urging them to continue providing intelligence to the police.
It lauded the police officers, who participated in the rescue operations.
