Ten people on Wednesday lost their lives in a fatal auto crash in Lagos.
The accident, which occurred at Abule-Osun inward Iyana Iba, along Lagos-Badagry Expressway, involved a Toyota Sienna bus, registration number BDG 342 FS and a parked SHACMAN truck, with unknown registration number.
The bus was conveying passengers from the Eastern part of the country when it crashed into the stationary truck, which was laden with granite.
The truck was reportedly badly parked on the road, blocking about half of the carriageway, while the speeding Toyota Sienna crashed into it from behind, leaving ten people dead and three severely injured.
According to the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority, LASEMA, the dead passengers include three male adults, four female adults, two female children and one male child.
Some officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, rushed the injured passengers, one female adult and two male children, to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
