With the victory, the Chris Danjuma-tutored side sit in second position in the group with three points while former champions, Germany, occupy the top spot of group on goal difference after beating Venezuela 5-2.
The Falconets’ second game is against Germany at the Estadio Metropolitano de Techo, Bogota on Wednesday.
