Isi Obehie, a community in Ukwa West LGA of Abia State and environs is reeling in shock glowing the discovery of the remains of six members of the same family, dead at their residence.
The victims, including three children, their mother, the mother’s sister and her brother-in-law, were found dead by their neighbours.
The cause of the tragedy is yet to be ascertained but feared to be connected to inhaling generator fumes or demonic manipulation.
The father, who was not at home at the time of the incident is the incident, is the only surviving member of the household.
ASP Maureen Chinaka, the spokesperson of Abia State Police Command, confirmed the incident, adding that investigations were on to ascertain the cause of the deaths.
The identities of the victims have not been made public.
