It was a glorious Sunday of worship as the atmosphere overflowed with heartfelt praise, fervent prayers and prophetic declarations that rekindled hope in the hearts of believers.
From the opening moments of the service, the church choir ministered powerfully, ushering the congregation into God’s presence through vibrant songs of praise and worship.
Taking the first charge, Pastor Emeka Success drew inspiration from Nehemiah 8:10, reminding the congregation that “the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
He encouraged believers to embrace God’s blessings with gratitude, urging them to “go, eat, celebrate and share with those who have nothing.”
According to him, God’s blessings are never meant to terminate on one person. As believers become channels of blessing to others, God continually enlarges their capacity, ensuring they always have enough to give. He then invited the Lead Pastor, Rev. Chikwem, to the rostrum.
Ministering under a strong prophetic anointing, Rev. Chikwem declared that the new week was already blessed for everyone who believed.
He charged the congregation to align their confessions with God’s promises, saying, “What I don’t receive is what I have not conceived.”
The pastor emphasised that the greatest investment anyone could make is in any vision where God is present. “If God is in it,” he declared, “forget human comparisons. Your reward is certain.”
He urged believers never to abandon divine assignments because of discouragement, praying that God would never bypass them to use someone else for what they were ordained to accomplish.
Speaking further on destiny and purpose, Rev. Chikwem assured worshippers that every God-given vision and dream had already been settled in heaven. Though the enemy might contend against God’s promises, he affirmed that God’s purpose would ultimately prevail.
In one of the day’s many memorable declarations, he proclaimed, “When God decides to fetch water with a basket, those carrying basins become ashamed of themselves,” illustrating that God’s methods often defy human logic and leave no room for boasting. He urged the worshippers not to allow God to bypass them in things they should do because of their unwillingness to.
The service later flowed into an intense session of prayers, prophetic declarations and deliverance.
Rev. Chikwem prayed passionately against every evil plot of the wicked, declaring them null and void by the authority of Jesus Christ. He proclaimed divine protection over God’s people, asking the Lord to frustrate every agenda designed to hinder their progress.
The man of God also declared that every member of the congregation would prosper openly, succeeding even in the presence of those who desired their downfall.
As the service came to a close, worshippers departed with renewed faith, strengthened by the assurance that the joy of the Lord would sustain them, God’s presence would guide their steps throughout the week, and every promise He had spoken concerning their lives would surely come to pass.
After the service, the members went on a rally for the upcoming Papa’s Move 14th anniversary on Sunday, July 26, 2026.
The epic even will hold at Canary World, on 23rd Rd., Festac Town, Lagos, from 10pm till dawn.
Apart from salvation, healing and deliverance, food packs, containing rice, beans, garri, spaghetti, salt, etc., would be shared to the attendees.
